Ana Maria Cristina Polo Gonzalez works as a television arbitrator for Caso Cerrado. She also hosts Ana Polo Rules. Ana, who was born in Havana Cuba with her mother and father at 2 years old, moved to Miami along with the family. The birthplace of Ana Maria Polo was Habana, Cuba, Ana Maria Polo hosts of the prestigious Telemundo show "Caso Cerrado", the first Spanish programming to be nominated for the Daytime Emmy(r) Award, and in 2015 ranked as the number one Spanish-language program at 4pm across key demos. Polo was born in Havana in 1959. After graduating at Florida International University's political science program, she relocated to Havana and lived there for the next 20 years. Then, she obtained her PhD in law at the University of Miami. For twenty years, she practiced law in Miami. After earning her PhD from the University of Miami she practiced law in Miami for more than 20 years. Polo was first introduced to television audiences in 2001, on Telemundo's Sala de Parejas (2001) and other shows on courts where her legal expertise was tapped. Literary Works and Accolades In 1958, she wrote the book Los Hijos Muertos (The dead children) and won the Critic's Prize and Spanish National Prize for Literature. Ana Maria Matute left Spain for her home in the United States in 1960. Polo who is an inpatient with breast cancer and a survivor of the disease, frequently speaks out about the cause she is fighting. Polo has been a vocal advocate for LGBT rights all of her life. She graduated in 1987 of law school at the University of Miami School of Law as well as a Florida Bar member.
